 VO-RF-101 - Sinchi Sacha House (Napo River) (rainforest)
Length of the Programs: Fixed programs are of 3 Nights/ 4 Days and 4 Nights/ 5 Days, however it is possible to design longer programs. Shorter programs are not advised due to the traveling time required to reach the region.
The Sinchi Sacha, located on the shores of the Napo River, 35 km. from the village of Tena on the way to the Punta Ahuano. The camp is the perfect place with enough facilities to enjoy a different experience in the rainforest.

Jungle
 The Jungle impresses the traveler, who, feeling part of the scenery, sees himself on the river which is as green as the vegetation, with that intense permanent greenness so typical of the tropical forest. But the jungle is, more than anything else, a sound like a swarm of bees, similar to waves of sound formed by thousands of voices that raise in chorus. The evaporation forms a cloud curtain which is broken by the outline of macaws flying past.
Viajes Orion together with the Sinchi Sacha Foundation (Powerful Jungle in the Quichua language), a private non-profit organization, whose mission is to promote sustainable development through social reassessment of cultural wealth, through the support of artisan production, the development of community ecotourism, environmental education and the strengthening of the civil society, have developed a different alternative to visit and learn more about the cultural and natural wealth of the Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest. |
